There are eight other designated county dog parks with some having lights to remain open after dark. Please note Shirlington Dog Park is closes at sunset. Everyone must be out of the park at that time. It reopens at sunrise. The closest dog park that has lights is Fort Bernard which is up the hill on Walter Reed Dr. near the fire station. It is open until 9:00PM. Click at left for the list and locations of other Arlington dog parks.
The AWLA offers pet adoptions and other services. They are located on the other side of the stream from the dog park.
