1. All dogs entering the dog park are required to have a current rabies vaccine tag in addition to its dog license tag. The Animal Welfare League of Arlington, AWLA, is offering low-cost rabies vaccines and microchips on September 23 at their facility. Preregistration is required. 2. Lost and Found. Do not leave anything behind after a visit to the dog park. Make sure your dog's tags are securely attached with a good quality key ring to avoid losing them. Also, double check you have your keys, and other items with you while in the park. Please place found items in the mail slot on the shed door. You can send us an email if you do lose something to check if it has been turned in: info@ShirlingtonDogs.org
3. Please help keep the park clean by making sure everyone picks up after their dogs and has them in sight at all times.
4. Your help is needed to protect the dog park by keeping an eye out for vandalism or any suspicious or harmful activity and reporting it immediately to the police at 703-558-2222, Park Rangers at 703-228-0052, or the Parks Dept at 703-228-4747 option 4. These numbers are posted on the bulletin board in the dog park and it is a good idea to load them ahead of time on your phone.
