2. Not sure if your dog has a microchip? The Animal Welfare League of Arlington will have a table set up in the area outside the main entrance to the dog park Friday, May 23 from 10 to 11:30 AM to scan your dog's microchip, verify the information and register it for free. They also provide this free service for all your pets at their location anytime they are open. AWLA.org
3. All dogs entering the dog park are required to have their current rabies vaccine tag displayed along with their license tag. AWLA will be offering low-cost rabies vaccines and microchips on June 7. You must register in advance. For info: AWLA.org/events
4. The stream and its banks are NOT part of the dog park and, as posted in the park, can be dangerous to you and your dogs. The stream at any time can carry a variety of toxic pollutants as well as harmful debris even when the water looks clean. In addition, the banks on both sides of the stream are very slippery and unstable.
