1. The Spring Dog Park Cleanup and Fundraiser Weekend will be May 20 and 21 starting at 10:00 AM both days. Come show your support for the dog park by participating in the cleanup on at least one of the days. Please meet at the bulletin board inside the Oakland St main entrance. We will be spreading mulch around the trees, picking up trash and doing other tasks. Everything will be provided for you. Any amount of your time that you can give is appreciated and we will be giving out gift cards from Dogma Dog Bakery and Boutique to those helping out. We will also be collecting donations both days to help maintain the dog park including purchasing poop bags, and planting new trees. 2. You must always pick up after your dog as dog poop left on the ground can spread many diseases besides creating other hazards.
3. A big thank you to Tanner Nelson and Boy Scout Troop 167 for their help in cleaning and restoring the benches in the dog park by sanding and applying sealant to the wood and painting the metal. Tanner's Eagle Scout Project will help greatly in extending the life of the benches.
